John Molyneux Foundation
What the charity is about
Dr John Molyneux was a pioneer of the hydroponic industry with a vision to allow individuals, families and communities achieve food independence. Since his passing in 2019, his wife Marie, saw the influence his legacy could have on easing the suffering through the medicinal use of cannabis.
The medicinal use of cannabis has been long studied and the findings widely supported. Yet, access to prescriptions is complex, bureaucratic and prohibitively expensive for most. Those suffering are left in pain as a result and the John Molyneux Foundation seeks to raise money to help to remove those blocks.
John’s son, Thomas, will be undertaking the gruelling 2000km bike ride between Land’s End and John O’Groats, hoping to raise £500 to launch the foundation. Starting on 5th September and lasting around 16 days, Thomas will follow the GB Divide route favoured by The Racing Collective.
